Florida Panthers star forward Matthew Tkachuk is making the most of his time off the ice.

Tkachuk has been battling an injury that he suffered during the 4 Nations Face-Off and has yet to play for the Panthers since the tournament ended last week.

During his recovery over the past few days, Tkachuk has made a couple high-profile guest appearances on popular talk shows: one on television and one on a podcast.

First it was Monday's appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, which Tkachuk certainly appeared to do quite well at.

Then on Wednesday, the popular podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce invited Matthew and Brady Tkachuk on the show.

The Tkachuk brothers spoke about growing up playing hockey together and how their father, former NHL star Keith Tkachuk, helped them along the way to reaching the NHL.

They also discussed the experience of playing together and what it meant to each of them, the pride they have for playing for Team USA and how they're looking forward to doing it again at next year's Olympics.

There are some cool stories and several great laughs and chirps during the extended chat, so it's definitely worth a listen.
