All four will play with and against each other in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final

The top of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft will be making a big splash at this year’s Stanley Cup Final.

As it turns out, each of the top four selections from that draft will be playing in this year’s championship series.

They are, in order, Aaron Ekblad, Sam Reinhart, Leon Draisaitl and Sam Bennett.

Ekblad and Draisaitl remain with the teams that drafted them, the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers, while Reinhart and Bennett were each acquired by the Panthers in 2021; Bennett at the Trade Deadline and Reinhart at that summer’s NHL Draft.

Now the four will all come together at the 2024 Stanley Cup Final when Florida and Edmonton face off for the right to lift Lord Stanley's Cup. 

Game 1 of the series isn't until Saturday night, so we've got some time before getting back to the best playoffs in all of sports. 

Making the rounds on social media have been photos that were taking at and around the 2014 NHL Draft that was held in Philadelphia.

They show a very young group of hockey prospects as they prepared for the draft in Philadelphia.

The boys visited Geno’s Steaks, Benjamin Franklin himself, the Rocky stairs and Citizens Bank Park before snapping some photos at the draft next door.
