    Kings preseason schedule is released

The LA Kings announced on Thursday its nine-game preseason schedule for the 2023-2024 season. The team will play in seven different cities against three opponents in a two-week span.

The Kings will get its first preseason action started down under when they take on the Arizona Coyotes in Melbourne, Australia, on September 23 and 24. This is the first time ever the NHL is taking its Global Series to Australia.

Tickets for the two-game series went on sale Wednesday and are going for $300 at the cheapest.

A separate Kings team will open up the preseason in the states as they will face off against the Ducks in Anaheim on September 24th.

This will be the first of three times the Kings and Ducks will meet during the preseason. The two teams will also play in San Diego on September 29 and at the Crypto.com Arena on October 3.

The Kings will also take on the Golden Knights twice. The team will be in Vegas on September 27 and then will welcome the Stanley Cup Champions to LA on October 7 as the preseason wraps up.

Salt Lake City will host the Kings for the second straight year as they will meet the Sharks in Utah. The Frozen Fury will take place on October 5, and tickets for that game are already on sale.

The Sharks and Kings will meet up one more time in San Jose on September 30.

The Kings have already planned giveaways for fans who attend the two home games in LA during the preseason. The first five thousand fans in attendance at the games against the Golden Knights and Ducks will receive a magnetic schedule.

The NHL is planning on releasing next year's regular season schedule in the next week. The Kings are rumored to begin its season on October 11.
