WINNIPEG – The Wild are right back in action tonight following their franchise record-setting game last night against Vancouver. Minnesota scored ten goals against the Canucks in a 10-7 win.

Tonight they are back on the ice in Winnipeg to face the Jets who lost 6-3 last night to the Calgary Flames on the road.

These two teams always play a hard and physical game against each other when they play, especially with what has happened in the last two meetings this year.

"Well, again, there's a lot at stake for them. I don't expect that will come out," Jets head coach Rick Bowness said before the game. "I think those things have been dealt with so the players dictate all that. We wish we kind of kept it out of the media. That's our side but it didn't so you deal with it. But the most important thing for both teams tonight is the two points that the players have to take care of things on the ice."

Previously, Jets defenseman Brenden Dillon cross-checked Kirill Kaprizov in the back multiple times which had Kaprizov out of the lineup for seven games. In the next game, Ryan Hartman high sticked Cole Perfetti in the face. There has been a couple of fights as well but Bowness said that the pushback has been dealt with.

I'd still expect a little push back though since the Wild haven't played the Jets since Hartman high sticked Perfetti.

For the Wild though, there aren't any big changes to the lineup from last night, other than Dakota Mermis stepping in for Jon Merrill and Marc-Andre Fleury in goal.
