Ryan Hartman is back in the lineup tonight against the Red Wings after missing the last two games with an upper-body injury.

Ryan Hartman will be back in the lineup tonight for the Red Wings after missing the last two games with an upper-body injury. Jared Spurgeon was on the ice for morning skate for the second straight game but will not play tonight.

Jonas Brodin and Mats Zuccarello were not on the ice and their status remains the same, week-to-week. Zuccarello did skate on his own but Brodin has not.

When Hartman returned to the lineup after his suspension he was put on the Wild's fourth line. Dean Evason was let go as head coach after the game in which Hartman received the suspension.

John Hynes took over and the Wild won the first two games without Hartman. So the 29-year-old forward was placed on the fourth line because the three lines ahead of him were playing well.

Hartman stayed there for a few games, and then a spot in the top six opened up after Zuccarello got hurt. Hartman skated with Marcus Johansson and Marco Rossi and scored a goal in two straight games before he got hurt again.

Tonight Hartman will draw back into the lineup and play with Rossi and Johansson as they will look to pick right back up where they left off.

"I thought Hartzy was playing well before he got hurt," Hynes said on Hartman. "It was too bad when we first came in he was out but I thought he got up to speed a little bit quicker. I think he's playing with more pace to his game and that's allowing him to be a factor in multiple ways."
