Losing Jonas Brodin for a month is big but how much of a loss is it?

Marc-Andre Fleury was sitting at 550 wins in his career when Filip Gustavsson went down with an injury in Winnipeg on December 30th. Since Gustavsson's injury, Fleury has started four games in a row and has gone 1-3-0 in that span.

Fleury, 39, started in his 1,000th game at home on the 31st against the Jets and now three games later he has won his 551st career win which is tied for second all-time in the NHL with Patrick Roy.

The Wild were down late in the third period to the Blue Jackets but were able to tie it in the third and later win it in overtime after Fleury made two huge plays.

First, the veteran goaltender went to the bench for the extra attacker late in the third but as Fleury was heading to the bench he pivoted and rushed back to the cage and dove to try to save Justin Danforth's shot.

Danforth did miss the net but maybe the diving Fleury distracted him. The Wild later went down and tied it to force overtime.

In overtime, Yegor Chinakhov caught a pass from Jake Bean before he unloaded on a one-timer but Fleury slid across and flashed the leather.

Not long after, Marco Rossi ended it in overtime after Matt Boldy, who had two goals in the game, passed one to Rossi who ended it.

With the win, Fleury has now tied Roy for second in NHL history in wins.
