Marcus Foligno returns to the lineup tonight against the Stars

Marcus Foligno returns to the lineup tonight against the Stars hoping to provide a spark.

    Wild vs Stars Game Preview

ST. PAUL - After missing the last three games with a lower-body injury, Marcus Foligno is back in the lineup tonight against the Dallas Stars.

The Wild went 1-2-0 in the three games without Foligno but also just recently activated Mats Zuccarello from the injured reserve and are getting healthier slowly which is a good sign.

"We've been playing hard games without us in the lineup," Foligno said on the Wild playing without Zuccarello and himself. "The character of our team and the way we have been playing, the way Hynzie (Hynes) has us playing, it's been good to see that not much changed with key guys out."

Foligno, 32, has six goals and 15 points this season for the Wild in 35 games but was on a roll a bit before he went down with an injury. In his previous five games, Foligno had three goals and one assist and continued his elite-level defensive play.

It's good to get Foligno back like it was to get Zuccarello back last game. The Wild are hoping to beat the Stars tonight and get Marc-Andre Fleury's 552nd win out of the way here on home ice. And Foligno hopes he can be a big factor in that regard.

"We all know what is on the line tonight and moving forward," Foligno said on Fleury. "To beat Dallas is the most important thing but we know that this would be great to do at home."
