Watch out for Matt Boldy tonight as the 22-year old forward has three goals and four points in two games against the Flames this year.ST. PAUL - Matt Boldy has played pretty well against the Calgary Flames this season and without some of the Wild's key players, Boldy will be looked upon to provide a spark.
Boldy, 22, is tied for fifth in the NHL with nine goals scored since November 28th when John Hynes took over as the head coach of the Wild. He has nine goals and 12 points in his last 14 games.
Without Kirill Kaprizov last year, Boldy thrived and really picked up his game in the absence of Kaprizov.
The Wild will be without Kaprizov for awhile now as he is currently listed as week-to-week with an upper-body injury after taking several cross-checks to the hip in Winnipeg on Saturday.
But the Wild are also without Mats Zuccarello still and possibly Marcus Foligno as he did not participate in line rushes this morning and is considered a game-time decision for tonight's game.
Without a lot of star power up front, Boldy could see a lot of ice time and is player to watch out for. In his last five games, Boldy has three goals and 13 shots for an average of 2.6 a game.
