The Minnesota Wild face their Central Division rival in the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. on the road Tuesday night at American Airlines Center, the first meeting between the Wild and Stars since the postseason.
The Wild are 1-0 so far in the preseason after winning 4-3 over the Avalanche in Colorado in their first preseason game, which featured goals from three roster hopefuls in Sammy Walker, Jujhar Khaira, and Vinni Lettieri.

The Wild also reduced their training camp roster to 46 players on Monday sending most of the junior guys back to Canada.
Pat Maroon will travel to Dallas and is expected to play on a line with Marcus Foligno and Marco Rossi. Freddy Gaudreau has been practicing with Rossi and Foligno but Ryan Hartman has been battling a light injury so Gaudreau is the one to replace Hartman on that line if he can't play on Thursday.
