
ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (32-19-4) is back in action tonight against the New York Islanders (25-23-7) for a 7:00 p.m start.
Filip Gustavsson will start tonight for the Wild. He is coming off a 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday. He stopped 37-of-38 in that game and faced 91 shot attempts.
Gustavsson, 26, is 21-11-3 on the year with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage. He has three shutouts as well.
Ilya Sorokin will start again for the Islanders. He started last night against the Winnipeg Jets and made 23 saves out of the 27 shots he faced in the Isles 4-3 loss to the Jets.
He is 20-15-4 on the year with a 2.63 goals-against average and a.909 save percentage with three shutouts.
In his career against the Islanders, Gustavsson is 2-1-0 with a 2.29 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage. He let up five goals against the Islanders when he was on the Ottawa Senators but has done well against New York in two career games with the Wild.
With the Wild, Gustavsson is 2-0-0 with a 0.96 goals-against average and a .967 save percentage against the Islanders.
