ST. PAUL - Marc-Andre Fleury has always played well against the Bruins, in fact, he is 13-9-7 against Boston in his career with a 2.53 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage in 29 games started.

Fleury, 39, was the winning goaltender in Boston on Tuesday when he stopped 40 of the 43 shots he faced. He is 1-0-2 in his last three starts against the Bruins with a .933 save percentage and will play in his 998th career game tonight.

Sitting at 549 career wins and three games played away from 1,000 in the NHL, the legend of Fleury continues. The future hall-of-fame goaltender is just three wins away from passing Patrick Roy for second all-time and three games played away from being the fourth-ever goaltender to play in 1,000 games.

Fleury is 5-5-2 on the year with a 3.26 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage in 12 games but has played well in his last three games since John Hynes took over as the head coach.

Since November 28th, Fluery is 2-1-0 with a .929 save percentage and a 2.66 goals-against average after going 3-4-2 with a .875 save percentage and a 3.46 goals-against average in his previous nine games under Dean Evason.

But the veteran goaltender will get the chance to beat the Bruins for the second straight game and the second game in the last week against Boston. If the Wild win tonight it will be the first time the Bruins have lost four straight games in a season since the 2019-20 season. Since December 12th, 2019 the Bruins have gone 192-68-29 which is the most wins, points, and best points percentage in the NHL in that span.
