
ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild are set to host the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight for a bit of an early game. Tonight's player to watch is Mats Zuccarello.
Zuccarello, 37, currently leads all Wild skaters in goals, assists, and points against the Maple Leafs in his career. He has 13 goals, 15 assists, and 28 points in 25 games against Toronto.
The Maple Leafs are expected to have Anthony Stolarz in net tonight who is 1-3-0 in four career games against the Wild with a 4.12 goals-against average and a .893 save percentage.
In Zuccarello's career against Stolarz, he has recorded two goals on seven shots in four games.
The 5-foot-7 forward has five goals and 11 points in ten games this year for the Wild. He is third on the team in points and tied for second in goals with Matt Boldy and Joel Eriksson Ek.
He also has eight points in his last seven games which includes three goals and five assists. This makes Mats Zuccarello as tonight's player to watch.
