According to JFresh Hockey's analytics model, the Minnesota Wild are projected to finish second in the Central Division with 102 points.
It is projected to be a pretty competitive Central Division it seems. The Utah Hockey Club is projected to finish with 90 points and not make the playoffs. If the Wild were to meet their projection it would be the third time in the last four year they finished the season with over 100 points.
The only time they didn't was last year when they finished with 87 points and missed the playoffs.
JFresh went on to say that his model loves Kirill Kaprizov, Matt Boldy, and Joel Eriksson Ek and those three are why the Wild are projected to finish as high as they are.
