Arbitration will not settle the Wild's next contracts for Sammy Walker and Declan Chisholm.

Friday marked the deadline for players and team's to file a someone for arbitration. 14 players in the NHL filed for Arbitration, none of which were Wild players.

Only Sammy Walker and Declan Chisholm were eligible for arbitration. But both Walker and Chisholm did get qualifying offers from the team earlier in the off-season.

Walker, 25, has spent the last two seasons in the Wild's organization. In his first season Walker played in nine NHL games and recorded one goal and one assist. He scored 27 goals in the AHL as well and was an AHL All-Star.

Last year the Minnesota native recorded 14 goals and 45 points in 70 games for the Iowa Wild. He appeared in four NHL games with the Wild where he recorded zero points.

Chisholm, 24, was a waiver claim by the Wild in last January. He played in 29 games for the Wild this year where he recorded three goals and eight points. Chisholm had two goals and five points on the power play.

The Wild do plan to sign Chisholm before the season.
