Brock Faber passes Marian Gaborik for rookie points

With his goal in last night's game, Brock Faber has passed Marian Gaborik for the third-highest single-season point total in Wild rookie history.

Faber should win the Calder and it's not close

With his second-period goal in last night's game in Colorado, Brock Faber moved his season point total to 37 which passed Marian Gaborik for the third-highest single-season point total in Wild rookie history.

Faber, 21, has six goals and 31 assists in 64 games this season for the Wild. Gaborik had 18 goals and 18 assists for 36 points in his rookie season for the Wild during the 2000-01 season in 71 games.

Only Matt Boldy's 39-point season in 2021-22 and Kirill Kaprizov's 51-point season during the 2020-21 season rank ahead of Faber for the highest single-season point totals in Wild rookie history.
