ST. PAUL - There was a thought that the Florida Panthers might turn to Spencer Knight for the Cats's game against the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday.

But it will Sergei Bobrovsky tonight. Bobrovsky is one of the top goaltenders in the league. He has struggled this year according to general box score stats. He is 14-6-1 on the year with a 2.97 goals-against average (GAA) and a .889 save percentage (SV%).

Bobrovsky, 36, is 13-5-1 against the Wild in 20 career games. He has a 2.37 GAA and a .918 SV% in those 20 games in his career. But he has struggled in his last three games against Minnesota.

Earlier this year, Bobrovsky allowed five goals on 16 shots and was pulled in the Wild's 5-1 win in October against the Panthers. He is 0-2-0 in his last three starts vs the Wild with a .788 SV%.

He allowed six goals on 36 shots last year in two starts and was pulled in one of them.
