Today marks the start of the IIHF 2024 Men's World Championships. The Wild have ten players and one coach competing in the tournament.
Sweden opens the tournament by playing USA. Sweden has five players from the Wild on their roster. Joel Eriksson Ek, Jonas Brodin, Marcus Johansson, Filip Gustavsson, and Jesper Wallstedt.
Gustavsson got the start for Sweden against Team USA Today. Matt Boldy plays for team USA with John Hynes as the head coach.
