    Five Wild players won a Bronze Medal at the 2024 IIHF Men's World Championships.

    Five current Wild players won the Bronze Medal at this year's IIHF Men's World Championships. 

    Sweden squared off against Canada in the Bronze Medal game on Sunday and walked away with a 4-2 win. 

    Canada had a 2-1 lead in the third period but after three straight goals by Sweden, Canada's lead slipped away. 

    Marcus Johansson scored his sixth of the tournament to make it 4-2 and eventually ended the game with a Bronze Medal. Jonas Brodin picked up an assist in the game as well. 

    Filip Gustavsson finished with 20 saves on the 22 shots he faced in the win. Gustavsson finished the tournament with a 2.13 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage in seven games with a 6-1-0 record. 

    Eriksson Ek finished the tournament with seven goals and nine points in ten games. He ranked tied for second in goals in the tournament.

    Johansson finished the tournament with six goals and six assists for 12 points in ten games. He led the tournament with a plus-14 rating. He was on the ice for one goal against and 15 for. 

    Wallstedt did not receive any game action but did back up one game. Brodin finished with one goal and four points in ten games and was a plus-5.
