
Former Wild defenseman Dmitry Kulikov won the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers on Monday.
Kulikov, 33, was the Panthers 14th overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft. He spent the first seven years of his career in Florida where he notched 28 goals, 110 assists, and 138 points in 460 games.
He has been on six teams in the last five years and played in Minnesota for one season. The Wild signed Kulikov to a two-year deal worth $2,250,000 but after a rough playoffs with the team, the Wild traded him to the Anaheim Ducks for Future Considerations.
The Ducks ended up trading him to the Pittsburgh Penguins at the deadline last year. He signed a one-year deal with the Panthers this year where he put up one goal and 20 points in 76 games.
In his Wild career, Kulikov put up seven goals and 24 points in 80 games and was a plus-23. He is now a Stanley Cup Champion.
