    ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild hosted the Pittsburgh Penguins for a game during the day on Sunday. It was Connor Dewar's first game back in Minnesota after the Wild traded him in 2023. 

    Dewar, 25, was traded by the Wild at the 2023-24 deadline to the Toronto Maple Leafs for a 2026 fourth-round pick. In 48 career games with the Leafs, Dewar recorded one goal, eight points, and 109 hits. 

    The 5-foot-10 center played in 173 career games with the Wild across three seasons. He recorded 18 goals, 20 assists, 38 points, 99 blocked shots, and 266 hits. 

    He was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, along with Conor Timmins in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick. 

    The Wild welcomed Dewar back on the jumbotron. Dewar could not of cared less. He finished with two hits on 12:52 of ice time.
