Former Wild forward Sam Steel recently got a chance to play in the Dallas Stars' top six on the second line.
On November 7th, Steel was on the second line with Matt Duchene and Tyler Seguin. He replaced Mason Marchment who did not play that game.
In the Stars' 3-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, Steel has one goal and one assist. Steel returned to the fourth line with Marchment drawing back into the lineup.
Steel, 26, recorded ten goals and 28 points in 65 games for the Wild. He was even the team's first-line center at times during the 2022-23 season.
With the Stars this year, Steel has two goals and five points in 15 games.
The former Wild forward seems to be fitting in nicely with Dallas. Let us know what you think by commenting below or on the Forum.
