Former Wild forward scores first goal with new team

Last night, former Wild forward Brandon Duhaime scored his first goal with his new team.

Wild need more secondary scoring

Last night in the Colorado Avalanche's 7-4 loss to the Dallas Stars, Brandon Duhaime picked up his first goal since being traded by the Minnesota Wild.

Duhaime, 26, had played 13 games with his new team without recording a goal. But in the Avalanche's loss last night, Duhaime got his first as a member of the Avalanche.

He was assisted on the play by Nathan MacKinnon and Casey Mittelstadt. Duhaime was traded to the Avalanche at the NHL Trade Deadline in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick.

In three seasons with the Wild, Duhaime recorded 19 goals, 35 points, 230 penalty minutes, and 502 hits in 193 career games. He has one goal and five points in 14 games for the Avalanche this year.
