Former Wild forward has left the ECHL for the Czech Extraliga with HC Litvinov.
HC Litvinov announced they have signed the former Wild prospect to a contract. Maxim Cajkovic has now left the ECHL to go to the Czech Extraliga league.
Cajkovic, 23, was acquired by the Wild before the 2023-24 season in a trade alongside Pat Maroon. He played five games for the Iowa Wild in the AHL and recorded one goal and three points.
In 20 ECHL games for the Iowa Heartlanders, Cajkovic recorded 12 goals and 18 points. He was eventually traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins for defenseman Will Butcher.
Butcher, 29, played in 24 games for the Iowa Wild. He recorded three goals and nine points. He was not re-signed by the Wild and is currently a free agent.
