    The former Wild goalie has signed a contract in the German Professional league.

    The former Wild goaltender Zane McIntyre has signed a contract with the Straubing Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), leaving the AHL. 

    McIntyre, 31, spent the last three seasons in the Wild's organization all with the Iowa Wild. He struggled last year a lot but was solid the two seasons before. 

    He went 4-14-4 with a 3.41 goals-against-average (GAA) and a .881 save percentage (SV%) in 24 games for Iowa last season. In 2022-23 McIntyre went 16-12-5 with a 2.87 GAA and a .899 SV%. 

    In his first season McIntyre went 19-14-3 with a 2.45 GAA and a .921 SV% in 37 games for Iowa. The Grand Forks, ND., native will now join the Tigers in the DEL to play next season.
