Servác Petrovský never played a game in the Wild's organization.

As the season approaches, rookie camps have started to take place. The former Wild prospect Servác Petrovský, was invited to Utah Hockey Club's rookie camp after the Wild let him go.

Petrovský, 20, was a sixth-round pick in the 2022 draft by the Wild. He was coming off a season in the OHL where he recorded 20 goals and 55 points in 57 games for the Owen Sound Attack.

The Wild had until June 1st to make a decision on Petrovský and they elected to leave the young center unsigned.

He had 72 goals, 92 assists, and 164 points in 184 games in the OHL and nine goals, six assists, and 15 points in 14 career World Junior Tournament games for Slovakia.

It looks like the young center will now get a chance with Utah.
