    The New York Islanders announced today that they have signed New York native, Marshall Warren to a two-year, entry-level contract for the 2024-25 season.

    Warren, 22, recorded four goals and 18 points in 41 games at the University of Michigan this past season while serving as an alternate captain. He was originally drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Draft with pick No. 166.

    The 6-foot defenseman played four seasons at Boston College and was the captain for the Eagles as senior in 2022-23. Warren collected 20 goals and 57 points in 130 career games at Boston College. He later transferred to Michigan for his fifth season.

    He will report to the Bridgeport Islanders (AHL) on an amateur tryout.
