ST. PAUL - Minnesota Wild defenseman Jake Middleton had a hilarious post-game interview with Kevin Gorg and FanDuel Sports Network North after the Wild's 3-2 overtime win.
After he did his interview with the TV broadcast, Middleton answered some questions from the media.
It was a very physical game full of a lot of chirps.
"Yeah, both the teams were kind of a------s out there," Middleton said. "But it was good. That was a fun hockey game. Xcel was rocking on a Tuesday. Hope you guys enjoyed it, I know we did."
There seemed to be some bad blood between the Vancouver Canucks and the Wild. But in the end, the Wild were able to come away with the win.
"I don’t know, they were cross-checking everybody," Middleton said on the bad blood between the two teams. "So, it was frustrating, ya know. And, fortunately, it was prison rules both ways for a bit and we got away with it, too."
