Iowa Wild defenseman David Spacek makes Team Czechia for the 2024 Men's World Championship.
After impressing management the last week for Czechia, Iowa Wild defenseman and current Wild prospect David Spacek has made team Czechia for the upcoming 2024 Men's World Championship.
Spacek, 21, was a fifth-round pick by the Wild in 2022 and just finished his first pro season with the Iowa Wild. Spacek had three goals and 12 points in 61 games for the Iowa Wild.
The 6-foot defender had one goal and one assist in two games for Czechia during international play and has been rewarded with a spot on the team.
