Jonas Brodin left the game last night after taking a vicious hit by Anaheim's Alex Killorn in the third period.
The play happened in the early stages of the third period when Brodin had the puck along the boards. He played it down the wall then a few seconds after he had gotten rid of it, Killorn blasted him in the boards and then threw him down to the ice.
What should've been a penalty wasn't, and instead Brodin was lying on the ground in pain. He eventually got up and made his way to the bench but he was not putting any weight on his leg.
Wild head coach John Hynes said after the game yesterday "Hopefully it's nothing too serious."
The Wild picked up two points and on the same night, the Vegas Golden Knights lost. So the Wild are now three points out of a playoff spot with a huge game tonight but will likely be without Brodin for a while.
