ST. PAUL - Kirill Kaprizov entered last night's game with 297 career points in 257 career games. But after his three-goal night Kaprizov now has 300 points in his career.
He became the fifth-fastest active player to record 300 career points behind Sidney Crosby (219 GP), Alex Ovechkin (237 GP), Connor McDavid (240 GP), and Evgeni Malkin (240 GP).
Kaprizov's 300th career point in 258 career games broke Marian Gaborik's Wild record for fastest to 300 career points. Gaborik did it in 384 games.
The 26-year-old forward now has 29 goals and 66 points in 55 games this year for the Wild. He now takes over the team lead in goals passing Joel Eriksson Ek's 28.
