    Wild forward Marco Rossi finished sixth in Calder Award voting.

    The NHL announced their awards from the 2023-24 season on Thursday night in Las Vegas before the NHL Draft. Wild defenseman Brock Faber was a finalist for the award and finished second in voting. 

    Marco Rossi also received some votes and finished sixth in total voting points. Logan Cooley, Pyotr Kochetkov, Luke Hughes, Faber, and Connor Bedard ranked ahead of Rossi. 

    He received 11 third place votes, 39 fourth place votes, and 50 fifth place votes. 

    Rossi, 22, finished second among rookies with 21 goals in 82 games (21-19—40). He was one behind Bedard’s rookie-best of 22. 

    He became the second rookie in franchise history to record a 20-goal season and the third to produce a 40-point campaign. Kirill Kaprizov recorded 27 goals and 55 points in his rookie season. Faber is the other rookie to record a 40-point season.
