
ST. PAUL - Both injuries to Matt Boldy and Jake Middleton don't seem like they will be long-term but Wild head coach John Hynes said on Thursday that both Middleton and Boldy will not play in Chicago on Friday.
Boldy, 23, has yet to play a preseason game. He has been hurt for over a week with a lower-body injury. Boldy started practicing with the team the last few days but will not travel with the team on Friday for their final preseason game.
Middleton, 28, has played in a preseason game this year but will not play in Chicago for the Wild's last game before the regular season.
Both Boldy and Middleton are expetced to be healthy and ready for opening night on October 10th.
