Wild open training camp with a significant injury to a top player.

Wild take the ice for training camp.

ST. PAUL - Wild winger Matt Boldy did not participate in Monday's practice and is now considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Boldy, 23, opened camp healthy and on a line with Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Johansson. But on Monday most of the Wild's lines were switched up. Marco Rossi was taking limited rushes with Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello.

This bumped Ryan Hartman down to what presumed to be the second line with Eriksson Ek and Johansson. Marat Khusnutdinov was with Yakov Trenin and Marcus Foligno.

If Boldy isn't ready by the start of the season, this could be a huge loss for the Wild. As of now he is considered week-to-week with what they are calling a lower-body injury.

That doesn't seem to be the case though. Wild head coach John Hynes said after practice Monday that Boldy is anticipated to be back by the end of camp and the start of the season.
