Wild's Matt Boldy showed himself at the World Championships. His impressive tournament could make him an option for the Four Nations and even the Olympics.

Team USA lost in the quarterfinals to Czechia 1-0 and were eliminated. Wild's Matt Boldy won the top player of the tournament for USA and won multiple player of the game awards throughout the tournament.

He leads the tournament in points with 14 in eight games with six goals. His impressive play might earn him a spot on next year's Four Nations tournament or even the Olympics the following year.

The General Manager for the Four Nations tournament and the Olympics is the current Minnesota Wild General Manager and President of Hockey Operations, Bill Guerin.

Guerin will continue to watch Boldy throughout next season before he makes up the roster for Team USA for the Four Nations and you would have to think with how well Boldy played at the National level for the World Championships, that he may be an option to make the team.
