The Minnesota Wild have made additions to the hockey operations staff, hiring Andrew Nolan as massage therapist, as well as Ben Klein and Bryan Rohrbach as assistant strength and conditioning coaches.
On Tuesday, the Minnesota Wild announced a trio of hirings to their hockey operations staff.
GM Bill Guerin confirmed that the team has hired Andrew Nolan as massage therapist, as well as Ben Klein and Bryan Rohrbach as assistant strength and conditioning coaches.
Prior to joining the Wild, Nolan served as a part-time massage therapist for the Ottawa Senators for two seasons, from 2024 to 2026. He also spent five seasons as a training camp massage therapist for the Senators from 2021 to 2026.
According to the Wild's press release: "Nolan was also the owner and founder of Athletic Kneads, a sports massage therapy business that specializes in athlete performance, recovery, and injury management. He has worked with Scotland’s national rugby union team and the Australian women’s national rugby union team as a Sports Massage Therapist. He is certified in Graston technique as well as Muscle Energy. Nolan received his Massage Therapy Diploma from the International Academy of Message in 2020 and has been registered with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (CMTO) since 2021."
As for Klein, he joins the organization after spending one year serving as the research and development performance analyst for the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL. His experience extends beyond football, as he's worked with multiple college basketball teams and interned with the NBA's Chicago Bulls, according to the press release.
According to the press release: "He also supported the University of Northern Iowa’s (UNI) men’s and women’s track and field teams along with the women’s tennis team and offered support to the strength programs at multiple Iowa high schools. Rohrbach earned a B.A. in Exercise Science in 2012 from UNI, then stayed in Cedar Falls to earn his M.S. in Kinesiology and Sports Performance from UNI in 2014."
