    ST. PAUL, Minn - After 25 years of playing hockey in the arena called the Xcel Energy Center, the Minnesota Wild have announced new naming rights to its home. 

    The Xcel Energy Center will now be called Grand Casino Arena. Minnesota Wild Chief Executive Officer Matt Majka announced the news on KFAN Radio on Monday. 

    Grand Casino is only located in Minnesota. Beginning September 3, 2025, the home of the Minnesota Wild will be named Grand Casino Arena.
