Wild have recalled goaltender Jepser Wallstedt and reassigned defenseman Daemon Hunt to Iowa.

With Marc-Andre Fleury getting hurt last night against the Florida Panthers, the Wild have recalled goaltender Jesper Wallstedt from Iowa and sent Daemon Hunt down in a corresponding move.

Fleury, 39, is 8-9-3 this season with a 2.95 goals-against average and a .897 save percentage. He will miss at least the Wild's game on Sunday but was not placed on the injured reserve.

Hunt, 21, has one assist in 12 games for the Wild this year and will go back down to the AHL where he has one goal and nine points in 16 games for the Iowa Wild.

The Wild have had the luxury of having an extra defenseman or two for almost every game this year so Hunt hasn't been able to string multiple games in a row but when he has played, the youngster has looked good.

Wallstedt, 21, was called up a couple of weeks ago when Filip Gustavsson was hurt to start a game in Dallas. The 6-foot-3 goaltender allowed seven goals in his NHL debut and was sent down moments later.

The Iowa Wild signed goaltender Peyton Jones to a PTO after Wallstedt got called up to replace him.

The Wild are on the road for a game against the Carolina Hurricanes tomorrow before returning home next week for a three-game homestand.
