ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild announced a trade on Wednesday with the Los Angeles Kings. 

The Wild acquired forward Tyler Madden in exchange for defenseman Joseph Cecconi. Madden grew up and played his youth hockey for Edina while his dad was playing for the Wild. 

Madden, 25, has recorded eight goals, 17 assists, and 25 points in 47 games with the Ontario Reign of the AHL. 

Cecconi, 27, has recorded two goals and 13 points in 51 games for the Iowa Wild of the AHL this year.
