Wild head coach John Hynes on Sunday in Winnipeg that the Wild's captain is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury. He did not play against the Winnipeg Jets and is being evaluated today (Monday).
The last thing the Wild want is for this season to turn into last years. Eriksson Ek is expected to be back on Tuesday for the Wild's game in St. Louis but there is no other update on Spurgeon.
He is listed as day-to-day right now but that could change following Monday's evaluation.
