The Wild have had Chicago's number these last few years.

ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (21-10-4) have had the Chicago Blackhawks' number these last few years.

Following the Wild's 4-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks (12-21-2) on Monday night, Minnesota has now recorded a point in 15 consecutive games against the Hawks.

They are 14-0-1 in that stretch of games which dates back to Feb 4, 2020. They are also 10-0-1 in their last 11 games against the Blackhawks at home.

Once the Wild got a 3-2 lead in the third period, they settled in and shut down the Blackhawks like they have for the last four years.

"We just kind of let it slip away a little bit. Going 2-2 into the third period is not a bad place to be on the road," Hawks forward Jason Dickinson said on the game. "We give up that one point shot there to make it 3-2 and they’re able to sit back 1-1-3 and kind of control the pace of the play through the neutral zone and not really let us get in the zone, get any scoring chances. So it’s kind of not something, not a position you want to be in."

Chicago's captain Nick Foligno was able to give his team the lead 2-1 in the second period but the Wild's captain Jared Spurgeon was able to tie it in the second.

Later, Nick's brother Marcus Foligno was able to score the game-winning goal. It was his first game-winning goal of the season. He tied his career-best with a plus-3 rating in the win as well.

Nonetheless, the Wild continued their dominance over the Blackhawks these last few years with their 15th consecutive game with a point against Chicago.
