Vinni Lettieri returned to the lineup last night for the Wild after missing the last 15 games with a broken foot. The Wild went 5-9-1 in those 15 games without Lettieri.

In the 19 games he has played this year, the Wild are 9-8-2. He returned tonight for his 20th game of the season and made an immediate impact.

Lettieri set up Jake Lucchini's first goal of the year in the first period and later set up the winner to Marcus Foligno in the third period.

Tonight marked Lettieri's 20th game of the year and with the 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, the Wild are now 10-8-2 when Lettieri is in the lineup.

Not only did he record two nice assists, Lettieri had the save of the game with about three minutes left after Colin Blackwell had a chance to tie the game with Filip Gustavsson out of his crease.

But Blackwell's shot was blocked by Lettieri's skate, keeping the game at 2-1. The Wild eventually walked away with the win and are now five points behind the St. Louis Blues for the last playoff spot in the West.
