
Wild forward Steven Fogarty has announced retirement via his Instagram post.
According to his Instagram post, Steven Fogarty has officially retired from the NHL. The Minnesota native played the last two years in the Wild's organization with the Iowa Wild.
Fogarty, 31, recorded 37 goals, 49 assists, and 86 points in 134 games for the Iowa Wild the last two seasons. He appeared in two NHL games with the Minnesota Wild during the 2022-23 season.
The former Edina Hornets State Champ played in 31 career NHL games with the New York Rangers, Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins and the Minnesota Wild.
He served as the Iowa Wild's assistant captain the last two years and recorded 196 goals, 162 assists, and 268 points in 464 career AHL games across nine seasons.
With Edina High School, Fogarty had 44 goals, 31 assists, and 75 points in 66 career games according to EliteProspects.
