Wild head coach John Hynes is optimistic that Zach Bogosian will play on the trip plus Jared Spurgeon is 'good' to go.

Zach Bogosian left practice early on Saturday and did not play against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday. Today Bogosian did not practice but will go on the road trip.

Wild head coach John Hynes said he is optimistic that Bogosian will play during the team's Western Canada four game road trip.

Yesterday Jared Spurgeon took a hit from Ryan Donato in the first period and was later helped off the ice by Kirill Kaprizov and one of the Wild's trainers.

But Spurgeon later returned and played the rest of the game. He was out at practice today in full contract and looked fine. Hynes said he is good to go.

The Wild did recall Dakota Mermis from the AHL and reassigned Vinni Lettieri to Iowa for an extra defensemen in case either Bogosian or Spurgeon aren't available or need a day off with a back-to-back coming up.
