The Wild have placed forwards Devin Shore and Ben Jones on waivers.

ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild don't play until Wednesday and with their current cap space, they have placed forwards Devin Shore and Ben Jones on waivers.

Shore, 30, has one assist and 30 hits in 24 games this year for the Wild. He has two goals and ten points in 14 AHL games this year with the Iowa Wild.

Jones, 25, has zero points, 49 hits, and has been in two fights this year in 25 games. He has four goals and 12 points in 14 AHL games this year with the Iowa Wild.

This move will save the Wild, who are right against the cap, some money. Plus, Kirill Kaprizov and Jakub Lauko are both nearing returns and the Wild don't play until Wednesday.
