ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild have placed forward Devin Shore on waivers on Monday.
The purpose of doing this will help the Wild acrue cap space these next couple of days considering the Wild don't play until Wednesday and had an off-day today (Monday).
Shore, 30, has played in 12 games for the Wild this year and has zero points. He has ten shots and is a plus-one on the year.
Minnesota also reassigned forward Reese Johnson to the AHL earlier today.
