After two disappointing seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers, Charlie Stramel has now transferred to Michigan State according to Nathaniel Bott.

Stramel, 19, will stay in the Big Ten Conference after leaving the Badgers. He will join Michigan State. Stramel played two seasons with the United States National Development Program where he played under head coach Adam Nightingale.

Now Stramel will go to Michigan State to continue to play under Nightingale.

In 34 games this season for the Badgers, Stramel notched three goals and eight points. He doesn't need to pick up a ton of points to become a good bottom-six NHL player with the Wild but he does need to show that he can play that style of hockey.

Getting a chance again to play under Nightingale, whom he succeeded under, will be good for both Stramel and the Wild.
