The Wild prospect had a big weekend for the Gophers.

After a great week the Wild prospect earned Big Ten Second Star of the week honors. Jimmy Clark led the Minnesota Gophers with five points on a goal and four assists during a road sweep at Minnesota Duluth over the weekend.

It was the first time Clark has been named a Big Ten Star of the week. He had five goals, six assists, and 11 points in 39 games last year as a freshman.

This year, he is off to an impressive start. He has already matched his career best six assists this season in just four games. Clark is second on the Gophers in points with seven and is first in assists with six.

Clark, 20, was drafted by the Wild in the seventh round of the 2023 NHL Draft with pick 213.
