The Wild have ten total players currently playing in the IIHF Men's World Championships and three of them are goalies.
Wild prospect Samuel Hlavaj, stopped 39 shots in Slovakia's 5-4 overtime win over USA a few nights ago and earned another start for Slovakia.
He followed that up by shutting out Poland with 20 saves in the 4-0 win. The 6-foot-4, 193-pound native of Martin, Slovakia, has been known for his terrific international play and he has continued to do just that.
Hlavaj, 22, is now 2-0-0 for Slovakia in the tournament with a .937 save percentage, a 1.94 goals-against average, and one shutout. In six total international games this year Hlavaj is 5-1-0 with a .923 save percentage, a 1.85 goals-against average, and one shutout.
