The Minnesota Wild (18-5-4) made a roster move on Monday before their game on Tuesday against the Utah Hockey Club (12-11-4) on the road.
Defenseman Cameron Crotty was recalled from the American Hockey League (AHL). He has five assists and a plus-two rating in 19 games with Iowa this season and ranks second among team defensemen with 25 shots on goal.
In the same move, the Wild sent down David Jiricek to the AHL to play games. He has been with the club since Nov. 30 and has not played in a game.
He collected one assist in six games in the NHL and has two goals and three points in four games with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) this season.
