ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild announced on Tuesday that they have recalled defenseman Daemon Hunt from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Hunt, 22, recorded two blocked shots in the one game with the Wild this year. He has two assists in six games for the Iowa Wild in the AHL this year.

The Wild have recalled Hunt from Iowa as insurance. Jonas Brodin got hurt in Chicago on Sunday night. The Wild were off on Monday and Tuesday but we will get an update of Brodin's status on Wednesday at practice from head coach John Hynes.
